Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. The Whizzbangs display red to show their love and passion for the quidditch game. The red is also there to remind our opponents of the power of our team and our determination to win at all costs!
Black is a mysterious color associated with fear and the unknown. Combined with red or orange other very powerful colors black gives a very aggressive color scheme. And that's just what the Whizzbangs want to show the other team: their aggressive nature! Quidditch is a mental game just as much as it is physical and the aggressive combination of our robes give us that fearsome look that can give our team the winning edge!
